Dirigo Multimedia, Inc. offers:

• Multimedia programming consulting, specializing in Adobe's Macromedia Director development, including Lingo programming, and Director and Authorware Xtra plug-ins for Macintosh and Windows, written in C++ . Director MX 2004 from Macromedia (acquired in 2006 by Adobe) is one of the leading cross-platform tools for multimedia content authoring for CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs and the Internet.
  
  
• A line of Xtra plug-in products for Macromedia Director and Authorware, and other multimedia utility software products, now sold directly by Dirigo, but sold at a discount without any support included-- because there just isn't enough time in the day for me now to offer quality support, given my other programming projects. I'm currently considering options for selling these products through other Xtra vendors who can support them properly. Some Dirigo plug-in and utility products were formerly sold by updateStage, inc. in Arlington, Massachusetts, which in January 2007 stopped selling new product. However, support is still available through updateStage for customers who bought products through updatestage. Dirigo also has developed plug-in and utility products that are owned by other companies. A few older plug-ins are freeware.
  
  
• Other digital arts, including digital video (DV) and multitrack digital audio field production and editing, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM and DVD-Video authoring, stop-motion and 3D animation, digital device control for interactive installations, and digitally conceived or executed art works in other media.
